Love the earth, save your faulty squash ball.

What will you do with the faulty squash ball? Throw it in the dustbin? Ya, I believe all players are doing that. Save the Earth, please recycle it.

Peel it into two, spherical half.

Use it as two ‘absorber stand’ for your laptop. The ‘half-ball’ will create a ‘gap’ for better laptop ventilation.

BINGO!!!! That’s all… simple & environmental friendly.
Easy to carry along with your lappie.
Save your money and more care to your lovely lappie~~~ :D

Why Squash Ball is “better" than the Laptop Cooler?

1. Most laptop cooler have fans, fan will generate vibration & noise which may be harmful to your Hard Disk reading/writing head.
The squash ball is 'nike air' rubber which will absorb your 'punching' (typing) power........ and always in silent. :P

2. The cooler fans are drawing power from your laptop USB port which may cause power instability (fyi, each USB port supply 5V 100/500mA power load. More information please read http://www.girr.org/mac_stuff/usb_stuff.html#current).
The squash ball is just a passive object, no power needed.

3. Too often plug in / pull out of USB devices (here I'm referring to the USB powered fan of the Laptop Cooler) will ‘wear off’ or damage the USB port.

4. The Laptop Cooler is not specially designed for your laptop - every laptop's ventilation hole may be in different position; hence instead of blowing out the ‘hot air’, the laptop cooler may instead ‘push’ the ‘hot air’ back inside the laptop. Correct air flow directions are very important in releasing heat.
The squash ball is just to enhance your existing laptop air flow.

  1. Very good idea. I always placed a laptop in an elevated position also. The small gap of space for ventalation is definetly not sufficient for the fans to keep it cool. It's the same effect as someone who puts a fan against the wall and restricts the airflow. And using the squash balls or anything simular is a very good way to cut out the vibration. I like doing creative things myself. It just seems like everytime I look up my idea, someone's already beat me to the punch.
